Charlie Hoehn and a really good friend have been telling me about the value of having a good website and showing your work via writing blog posts and it wasn't until I read Show your work (recommended by my good friend) that I got what they were trying to say. 

There were so many aha! moments while understanding the concepts and what it means to create and share one's life's work. The biggest takeaway was that I don't have to have it 'all figured out' before I started sharing my work I can capture my journey as I go about it - which is awesome!

For anyone interested, I highly recommend this book and I am so glad I signed up for this domain name.

I knew my previous website wasn't the best but I didn't have the motivation, the understanding nor the incentive for doing it.

In my experience, things don't get particularly easy but they definitely become more manageable if I know why exactly I should or shouldn't do something. It's like understanding why my good loving friend has been telling me to get in good shape and it making perfect sense because I know exactly why I need to do it and how it will benefit me.

When the student is ready, the teacher appears and I'm super grateful I found this book through someone who I trust.  

I went to school at General Assembly to learn UX Design and I am doing my due diligence of learning from the resources mentioned here by Dan Maccarone and Sarah Doody. I plan on sharing my thoughts and insights here as I read the books and go about learning more about User Experience.
